Hello. My name is John Blythe. I am a web developer. I like to think so, at least. I enjoy helping people realize their dreams, start something exciting, and positively effect others. I specialize in rich graphic design, Flash presentations, and well-formed, standards-compliant CSS/xHTML development. Please check out some of my more recent workings on the web and realize that I am, in fact, the best thing since sliced bread. You may use the contact information at the bottom of the page to reach me with any questions. Soli Deo Gloria. //
Yours Truly
Not the best shot, but a shot nonetheless. I take design seriously, though not too seriously. It is a great means of communication that is, in many ways, unparalleled by any other form as it combines words, colors, shapes, and many other elements in an attempt to persuade a person of a particular idea. Or something like that. Did I mention that I do freelance philosophy? If you're serious about your message, I can seriously help you get it out there to the people. I enjoy networking socially on Virb. Click below.
Frame Your World
FRAME is a new ministry dedicated to raising the awareness of global problems. Aimed at colleged aged individuals, FRAME needed something quick, simple, and to the point. One word: "justix."
Brad Byrd Music
Brad Byrd was an up and coming artist in need of a visually rockin' web presence. We had the chance to hook him up with just that, bringing him a totally custom, fully-functional flash site. But don't take our word for it, go check it out, along with his music.
Calvary Chapel
Calvary Chapel had an idea of what they wanted to present to their church members, but had no idea how to get it done. Even the distance between Justix and Cypress, California couldn't keep us from providing Calvary with all that they could have hoped for. The site not only looks killer, but allows for members to access over 20 years of sermons from their pastor free of charge. The site got the people shouting "Amen!"
Yes We Can
Yes We Can is an organization in our city that is pushing to maximize the efficiency of our school systems. They had already started a campaign with outdoor advertisements, but needed a place to point people to on the web. This is where we stepped in, bringing an efficient and effective web presence that reflected the light-hearted, scholastic environment they are trying to create in schools.
Hospital
Local band Hospital wanted to give there fans on Virb something a little bit prettier to look at. And that's exactly what they got. Now, instead of finding out about upcoming shows, viewing pictures, or leaving comments on a bland, generic page, the fans can get a taste of the band's style before they even hear the music or see the show.
United Way
United Way was in need of a video presentation for their yearly campaign. Well they got just what they had wanted. In fact, that year was one of the chapter's best. Could there be a link?? Hmmmm...(and the correct answer to that question is: "yes")
Orphan Soul
Another rockin' band that needed a rockin' site. And, as usual, Justix delivered. A full flash presentation helps articulate the face-melting band as being just that: face. melting.
Acts Living
A community of believers in New York needed an online presence to point people to so they could see what exactly was going on. The clean and simple UI allows for quick and easy access to the material that simply gives the user a brief overview of what the idea and mission of Acts Living is. The WordPress blog allows for updates, discussions, debates, and all sorts of resources for those in the Christian community to access.
Jerry Lee's
Jump across the state line and you'll find that Jerry Lee's grocers are as much a household name as "Wal-Mart"--maybe even more so. Jerry Lee's has been around for quite some time now in the heart of Mississippi's Gulf Coast. They have established quite a reputation for quality service and great products. It was finally time to take the next step in corporate growth, however, and that's where we were able to help.
Reality the Church
Authentic. Vibrant. Relevant. That's the theme of Reality the Church. Naturally, they needed a place to show that. A place for those involved and those interested in the ministry's efforts to find out more and, ultimately, get behind the momentum and push it further. We were glad to serve that right up for them.
Holla.
